GTFO Tours expands: Welcomes Suzanne Packard

In 2025, Suzanne Packard decided she wanted to leave the US but she was unsure how to make it happen. So she did a Google search and learned about the DAFT (Dutch American Friendship Treaty) visa and found GTFO Tours. She set up a call with Bethany Quinn, who filled in all the missing pieces and encouraged Suzanne to join the March 2026 small group tour. Now, less than a year later, not only has she moved to the Netherlands, she’s also joined GTFO Tours, as a contractor, helping the young agency grow sales.
“Taking the tour was the best decision I could have made to set myself up for success; there is truly no substitute for meeting with experts (not AI) and asking direct questions about your situation. With the tour, I was able to visit many cities, meet with makelaars (real estate people), and make informed decisions while making friends in the process,” says Suzanne.
With the help of GTFO Tours, Suzanne moved to Eindhoven in July with her dog and cat. She found a huge, beautiful home - fully furnished - with great neighbors. She’s now started her consulting business following two decades working for a major US financial institution in roles as diverse as financial crimes investigator to executive assistant. She helps businesses with sales processes and administrative streamlining as well as rolling up her sleeves to close the sale. Alongside that work, she is a personal travel agent. (Suzanne’s lifelong passion for exploring the world inspired her to launch her own travel planning agency to share that excitement with others. She specializes in crafting thoughtful, tailor‑made itineraries that bring joy, ease, and unforgettable experiences to every journey. You can reach out to her at lotusrisinghappily.com.)
“I am incredibly happy with my move, my house, the friends I've made, and the business I have started. The peace I've found is priceless. Because I'm so confident and happy with this path, I partnered with GTFO Tours to help others have a successful move,” she says. “I really want to help people and reassure them - you can do this! Every situation is unique,” she adds.
