Terms and Conditions for GTFO Relocation Tours

  1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between GTFO Tours ("GTFO"), a VOF company registered in the Netherlands (KVK #: 96718609), and participant ("Client") in a GTFO Tour. By booking a tour, Client expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions.

  2. Tour Description GTFO hosts relocation tours, which provide an introduction to life in the Netherlands, including expert-led seminars on topics such as visas, business setup, housing, schooling, integration, and taxes. The tours will include visits to at least four major Dutch cities and various transport experiences (walking, biking, boating, and public transit). GTFO does not provide any flights, meals, or accommodation. Transportation within the Netherlands when part of the tour is included.

  3. Booking and Payment The full payment of the fee plus BTW must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour commences, pending availability. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Specific accounts for payments will be provided upon request. Bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of payment. Some clients may book through an intermediary and in such case, said intermediary shall handle payment.

  4. Cancellation and Refunds If the client cancels the booking, cancellations made 30 days or more before the tour start date are eligible for a refund minus a processing fee of 15%. Cancellations made within 29 days of the tour start date are non-refundable. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing, and we will process refunds within 14 days of receipt. If GTFO cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or the option to reschedule will be offered.

  5. Liability and Responsibilities Client accepts the inherent risks associated with the tour and agrees not to hold GTFO responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages during the tour. Client is responsible for ensuring they have insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, and trip cancellations, and must follow all Dutch laws and regulations during the tour, as well as all written and verbal instructions from GTFO staff and affiliates such as tour guides.

  6. Hotel GTFO has negotiated a group rate and hotel block with a local hotel as a courtesy to Client, and will connect Client with the hotel to reserve a room in said block. It is Client's responsibility to verify the dates of their reservation and to alert the hotel if there are any changes. GTFO is not liable for charges arising from the hotel and, if a dispute occurs, reserves the right to bill Client for any fees incurred. Client is under no obligation to stay at the recommended hotel, and may book alternative accommodations if they so choose, but must communicate this to GTFO and the hotel if necessary.

  7. Health and Safety Client must disclose any medical conditions that could affect their ability to participate. GTFO reserves the right to refuse participation if a client's health condition is deemed unsafe for the activities involved.

  8. Passport and Visa Requirements Client must possess a valid passport for international travel. It is Client's responsibility to complete necessary visa paperwork, as advised by the airline.

  9. Changes to Itinerary We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, transport delays, or availability of experts. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

  10. Email and Communication Policy By booking a tour, you agree to accept emails and texts from us regarding your tour and related information.

  11. Code of Conduct Client must behave respectfully towards guides, fellow participants, and local residents. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.

  12. Force Majeure We are not liable for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

  13. Complaints Any formal complaints should be directed to our customer service at info@GTFOtours.com.

  14. Data Protection GTFO is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

  15. Multimedia Consent Client grants permission to GTFO to take and use photos, video, and other media from the tour for promotional purposes. GTFO also gets regular press coverage, including media who may join the tour. If Client objects to being interviewed or included in said media, Client will advise GTFO accordingly and we will make the appropriate accommodations. Client agrees to hold GTFO harmless for any press or other coverage or any reaction to said coverage.

  16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.

  17. General Provisions 16.1 Deviations from these Terms and Conditions are only possible in writing, and the other provisions will remain in force. 16.2 All rights and entitlements stipulated for GTFO in these Terms and Conditions and any further agreements will also apply for intermediaries and other third parties deployed by GTFO as necessary to provide agreed upon service.

  18. GTFO is not liable for any misunderstandings, distortions, delays or incorrect transmission of data and messages as a result of the use of the internet or any other communication resource in the traffic between the customer and Tours and Tickets (or the parties deployed by the customer).
